Author Note

Making Online Learning Accessible: A Making Work Accessible Handbook (the #A11yBook!) is the first in a series of practical handbooks for applying accessibility best practices to the world of work.

I started writing the checklists and resources that make up this book back in 2021, after reading other accessibility resources and searching for practical ways to apply the information I learned.

I understand how overwhelming accessibility guidelines can be when you just want to know what to do to create effective training and reach your whole audience.

So I wrote the handbook I always wished I had, and I can’t wait to share this book with you to get you started on your own accessibility journey – starting with accessible Online Learning.

Drawing on over 20 years experience in learning development and accessibility, I designed this handbook to provide practical, no-fluff guidance for making your training accessible.

You can create engaging, accessible training that meets all standards effortlessly. If you’re struggling with accessibility for online learning, my handbook is your perfect solution.

“If you have to create, review, or understand
what to do to create accessible training,
this is your go-to book.”
