Resources
These are some of the wonderfully helpful resources I’ve used to conduct my own accessibility testing, that I’m more than happy to share with you!
- WAVE Web Accessibility Checker – Enter any website, or install the browser extension to check anything you can open in a browser window, like your eLearning course or a PDF.
- Color Contrast Checker Bookmarklet – Drag this bookmarklet to your bookmarks bar to pop open a color contrast checker you can use on anything you can open in your browser!
- Chromatic Vision Simulator App [iOS | Android] – A simple phone app to simulate different kinds of color blindness. Great for printed resources, or as a supplement to a color contrast checker.
- Britne’s Accessibility Resources on Linktr.ee
- Adobe Acrobat Pro – Create and Verify PDF Accessibility
- Make Your PowerPoint Presentations Accessible to People with Disabilities
